MOUNDS STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Anderson. It is a mostly medium park with a claimed 75 sites to park your recreational vehicle. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. Do not worry too much about the length of your 45 footer since the sites are built for large RVs. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Sparky since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. Swimming pool access is a nice touch for this park. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip root beer float in style. I am confident that the kind folks at MOUNDS STATE PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Anderson.
