MOSQUITO LAKE STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Cortland. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a reported 234 sites to park your recreational vehicle. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. Your Big Rig should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. Electric hookups are provided. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little ole Yeller since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not just drive by Cortland – instead stop and rest at MOSQUITO LAKE STATE PARK.
