MONTANA DE ORO is a RV Park in or near the town of Los Osos. It is a almost small park with a reported 45 rv sites to park your recreational vehicle. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a very large camper. Make sure your generator is fueled up for this park. Electric looks to not be provided. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Watcher – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Barky since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not be a stranger, when you are by Los Osos, give the peeps at MONTANA DE ORO a call.
