MISSINAIBI PROVINCIAL PARK – CHAPLEAU is a RV Park in or near the town of Chapleau. It is a somewhat small park with a reported 36 rv sites to park your home away from home. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a Big Daddy RV. Bring your generator as this park does not have electric hookups. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no Wireless Internet. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little Paws since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Chapleau, you might find a great place to stay at MISSINAIBI PROVINCIAL PARK – CHAPLEAU.
