MCINTOSH WOODS STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Ventura. It is a almost small park with a reported 49 rv sites to park your RV. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a very long RV rig. Electric hookups are provided. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Indications are that this park is not particularly animal friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. I am confident that the kind folks at MCINTOSH WOODS STATE PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Ventura.
