MCDOWELL NATURE PRESERVE is a RV Park in or near the town of Charlotte. It is a small park with a listed 56 spots to park your coach. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. Your large RV should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. No need for a generator since the park has electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Watcher – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Wags since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not just drive by Charlotte – instead stop and rest at MCDOWELL NATURE PRESERVE.
