MCCORMICKS CREEK STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Spencer. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a possible 289 pads to park your camper. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. If you are driving a very long camper, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. No need for a generator since the park has electric. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. Swimming pool access is a nice touch for this park. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. If you ever get near Spencer make sure you stop on by the MCCORMICKS CREEK STATE PARK.
