MAY QUEEN CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Leadville. It is a fairly small park with a reported 27 slots to park your coach. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. If you are driving a large RV, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Make sure your generator is fueled up for this park. Electric looks to not be provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 Wireless Internet. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little Barky since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not just drive by Leadville – instead stop and rest at MAY QUEEN CAMPGROUND.
