MAXIES CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Broussard. It is a small to medium park with a reported 70 sites to park your coach. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a large Class A motorhome. No need for a generator since the park has electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. I do not know about you, but I cannot live without 802.11 Wireless Internet and this park has it so that is a good thing. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Animals are welcome here. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not be a stranger, when you are by Broussard, give the peeps at MAXIES CAMPGROUND a call.
