MASHAMOQUET BROOK STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Pomfret Center. It is a small park with a possible 55 slots to park your coach. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. We are not sure that your Big Rig can fit comfortably so please call ahead. Make sure your generator is fueled up for this park. Electric looks to not be provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. This is the one park you might want to leave behind Mr K9 since it is not really a pro-animal park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not just drive by Pomfret Center – instead stop and rest at MASHAMOQUET BROOK STATE PARK.
