MAQUOKETA CAVE STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Maquoketa. It is a fairly small park with a reported 29 slots to park your camper. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. Your large RV should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little ole Yeller since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not be a stranger, when you are by Maquoketa, give the peeps at MAQUOKETA CAVE STATE PARK a call.
