MANATEE SPRINGS STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Chiefland. It is a mostly medium park with a claimed 72 sites to park your coach. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. Do not worry too much about the length of your mansion on wheels since the sites are built for large RVs. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not just drive by Chiefland – instead stop and rest at MANATEE SPRINGS STATE PARK.
