MAD RIVER RAPIDS RV PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Arcata. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a claimed 92 spots to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. Do not worry too much about the length of your 45 footer since the sites are built for large RVs. No need for a generator since the park has electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park.
