LOPEZ LAKE RECREATION AREA is a RV Park in or near the town of Arroyo Grande. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a claimed 250 spots to park your coach. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. Your Big Rig should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. No need for a generator since the park has electric. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not just drive by Arroyo Grande – instead stop and rest at LOPEZ LAKE RECREATION AREA.
