LOFT MOUNTAIN CAMPGROUND (NPS) is a RV Park in or near the town of Shenandoah. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a listed 219 spots to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. Do not worry too much about the length of your Big Rig since the sites are built for large RVs. Make sure your generator is fueled up for this park. Electric looks to not be provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Your pet is welcome at this park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip pina colada in style. I am confident that the kind folks at LOFT MOUNTAIN CAMPGROUND (NPS) would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Shenandoah.
