LOCUST LAKE STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Barnesville. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a reported 282 rv sites to park your recreational vehicle. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. We are not sure that your very long camper can fit comfortably so please call ahead. No need for a generator since the park has electric. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Addict – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Rusty since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip jack and coke in style. Do not be a stranger, when you are by Barnesville, give the peeps at LOCUST LAKE STATE PARK a call.
