LAZY-D CAMPGROUND AND TRAIL RIDES is a RV Park in or near the town of Altura. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a claimed 117 rv sites to park your recreational vehicle. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. If you are driving a very long camper, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. No need for a generator since the park has electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. If getting in a pool is your thing then you are in luck at this park – it has pool access. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. If you ever get near Altura make sure you stop on by the LAZY-D CAMPGROUND AND TRAIL RIDES.
