LATHROP STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Walsenburg. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a claimed 102 pads to park your recreational vehicle. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. Do not worry too much about the length of your large Class A since the sites are built for large RVs. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Addict – no cable tv at this park. Your pet is welcome at this park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Do not be a stranger, when you are by Walsenburg, give the peeps at LATHROP STATE PARK a call.
