LAKE WAPELLO STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Drakesville. It is a mostly medium park with a claimed 80 slots to park your recreational vehicle. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. Your large RV should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. Electric hookups are provided. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Your pet is welcome at this park. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. I am confident that the kind folks at LAKE WAPELLO STATE PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Drakesville.
