LAKE ROOSEVELT NATIONAL RECREATION AREA-MARCUS ISLAND is a RV Park in or near the town of Marcus. It is a fairly small park with a possible 27 pads to park your coach. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. If your coach is 36 feet or longer you might want to call and see if you are too long. Make sure your generator is fueled up for this park. Electric looks to not be provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Watcher – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little ole Furr Ball since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not be a stranger, when you are by Marcus, give the peeps at LAKE ROOSEVELT NATIONAL RECREATION AREA-MARCUS ISLAND a call.
