LAKE PLACID/WHITEFACE MTN KOA is a RV Park in or near the town of Wilmington. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a claimed 218 rv sites to park your RV. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. If you are driving a Big Rig, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Sewer connections are provided. If you just cannot get away without a little taste of the internet – do not be alarmed – WiFi is at the park. If your wife or significant other insists on Oprah reruns network be assured, the park offers Cable TV hookups. Animals are welcome here.
