LAKE PIRU RECREATION AREA is a RV Park in or near the town of Piru. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a claimed 200 sites to park your RV. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. If your coach is 36 feet or longer you might want to call and see if you are too long. No need for a generator since the park has electric. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Sewer connections are provided. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little Sparky since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Piru, you might find a great place to stay at LAKE PIRU RECREATION AREA.
