LAKE OTTAWA NATIONAL FOREST CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Iron River. It is a somewhat small park with a listed 32 spots to park your coach. This park has no pull thru sites. Do not worry too much about the length of your large Class A motorhome since the sites are built for large RVs. Bring your generator as this park does not have electric hookups. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Mr K9 since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water.
