LAKE MURRAY STATE PARK/MARIETTA LANDING is a RV Park in or near the town of Ardmore. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a possible 300 spots to park your coach. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. Do not worry too much about the length of your large RV since the sites are built for large RVs. No need for a generator since the park has electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Sewer connections are provided. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Addict – no cable tv at this park. Animals are welcome here. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip gin and tonics in style. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Ardmore, you might find a great place to stay at LAKE MURRAY STATE PARK/MARIETTA LANDING.
