LAKE MURRAY RESORT PARK/ELEPHANT ROCK is a RV Park in or near the town of Ardmore. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a listed 300 slots to park your RV. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. Do not worry too much about the length of your Big Rig since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Sewer connections are provided. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Animals are welcome here. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip root beer float in style.
