LAKE MITCHELL/HIGGINS FERRY PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Clanton. It is a fairly small park with a possible 25 sites to park your recreational vehicle. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a Big Rig. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip root beer float in style. I am confident that the kind folks at LAKE MITCHELL/HIGGINS FERRY PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Clanton.
