LAKE JOHN RESORT is a RV Park in or near the town of Walden. It is a somewhat small park with a possible 36 pads to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. Do not worry too much about the length of your large Class A since the sites are built for large RVs. No need for a generator since the park has electric. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little Barky since this park is Animal Friendly. Note – tent camping is forbidden. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Do not just drive by Walden – instead stop and rest at LAKE JOHN RESORT.
