LAKE HUDSON RECREATION AREA is a RV Park in or near the town of Clayton. It is a almost small park with a listed 50 slots to park your RV. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. Do not worry too much about the length of your very large camper since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Fluffy since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip gin and tonics in style.
