LAKE DARLING STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Brighton. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a reported 118 pads to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. If you are driving a large RV, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Electric hookups are provided. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Sparky since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive.
