L.L. STUB STEWART MEMORIAL STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Buxton. It is a largish park with a claimed 144 pads to park your camper. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. Do not worry too much about the length of your very long RV rig since the sites are built for large RVs. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. If you just cannot get away without a little taste of the internet – do not be alarmed – 802.11 Wireless Internet is at the park. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Watcher – no cable tv at this park. Animals are welcome here. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here.
