KOOMER RIDGE CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Slade. It is a almost small park with a reported 43 sites to park your RV. This park has no pull thru sites. If your coach is 36 feet or longer you might want to call and see if you are too long. We do not believe the park has electric hookups. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Watcher – no cable tv at this park. Animals are welcome here. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not just drive by Slade – instead stop and rest at KOOMER RIDGE CAMPGROUND.
