KLIPCHUCK CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Winthrop. It is a somewhat small park with a listed 39 rv sites to park your recreational vehicle. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a Big Daddy RV. Make sure your generator is fueled up for this park. Electric looks to not be provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Barky since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. If you ever get near Winthrop make sure you stop on by the KLIPCHUCK CAMPGROUND.
