KANKAKEE RIVER STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Bourbonnais. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a claimed 110 pads to park your camper. This park has no pull thru sites. If you are driving a large RV, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little Fluffy since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip mimosa in style. If you ever get near Bourbonnais make sure you stop on by the KANKAKEE RIVER STATE PARK.
