KANAWHA STATE FOREST is a RV Park in or near the town of Charleston. It is a almost small park with a listed 46 pads to park your coach. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. If your coach is 36 feet or longer you might want to call and see if you are too long. No need for a generator since the park has electric. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Animals are welcome here. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. Bring your swim trunks this park has access to a pool. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not just drive by Charleston – instead stop and rest at KANAWHA STATE FOREST.
