JOSEPH H. STEWART STATE RECREATION AREA is a RV Park in or near the town of Trail. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a listed 201 pads to park your RV. This park has no pull thru sites. If you are driving a very large camper, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little Rusty since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip root beer float in style.
