JAMES M. ROBB – COLORADO RIVER STATE PARK/ISLAND ACRES SECTION is a RV Park in or near the town of Palisade. It is a mostly medium park with a possible 80 sites to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. Do not worry too much about the length of your large Class A motorhome since the sites are built for large RVs. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Barky since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip soda in style.
