JACKSON LAKE STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Orchard. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a possible 260 sites to park your camper. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. Do not worry too much about the length of your Big Daddy RV since the sites are built for large RVs. No need for a generator since the park has electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Your pet is welcome at this park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. I am confident that the kind folks at JACKSON LAKE STATE PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Orchard.
