ILLINOIS BEACH STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Zion. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a possible 241 spots to park your coach. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. If you are driving a very large camper, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Electric hookups are provided. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little ole Yeller since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not be a stranger, when you are by Zion, give the peeps at ILLINOIS BEACH STATE PARK a call.
