ILLINIWEK FOREST PRESERVE is a RV Park in or near the town of Hampton. It is a medium park with a possible 85 slots to park your camper. This park has no pull thru sites. If you are driving a Big Rig, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. No need for a generator since the park has electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Animals are welcome here. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not just drive by Hampton – instead stop and rest at ILLINIWEK FOREST PRESERVE.
