HUNTING ISLAND STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Beaufort. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a reported 200 rv sites to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. Do not worry too much about the length of your large Class A motorhome since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little Wags since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip gin and tonics in style. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Beaufort, you might find a great place to stay at HUNTING ISLAND STATE PARK.
