HOSPITAL FLATS is a RV Park in or near the town of Kernville. It is a almost small park with a reported 50 slots to park your home away from home. This park has no pull thru sites. If your coach is 36 feet or longer you might want to call and see if you are too long. Bring your generator as this park does not have electric hookups. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Watcher – no cable tv at this park. Your pet is welcome at this park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip pina colada in style. Do not be a stranger, when you are by Kernville, give the peeps at HOSPITAL FLATS a call.
