HICKORY SHORES RESORT is a RV Park in or near the town of Carlyle. It is a largish park with a claimed 148 rv sites to park your camper. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. If your coach is 36 feet or longer you might want to call and see if you are too long. No need for a generator since the park has electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little ole Furr Ball since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. If getting in a pool is your thing then you are in luck at this park – it has pool access. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip jack and coke in style. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Carlyle, you might find a great place to stay at HICKORY SHORES RESORT.
