HICKORY LAKE CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Aitkin. It is a small park with a possible 56 rv sites to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. Your large Class A should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little Mr K9 since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. Swimming pool access is a nice touch for this park.
