HICKORY KNOB STATE RESORT PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of McCormick. It is a almost small park with a listed 44 slots to park your RV. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. If you are driving a very long RV rig, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Bring your swim trunks this park has access to a pool. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. If you ever get near McCormick make sure you stop on by the HICKORY KNOB STATE RESORT PARK.
