HECKSHIRE STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of East Islip. It is a small to medium park with a listed 69 spots to park your coach. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. We are not sure that your Motorhome can fit comfortably so please call ahead. Make sure your generator is fueled up for this park. Electric looks to not be provided. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Watcher – no cable tv at this park. Depending on your perspective you might like this park as animals are not particularly welcome. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. If getting in a pool is your thing then you are in luck at this park – it has pool access. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip root beer float in style. Do not just drive by East Islip – instead stop and rest at HECKSHIRE STATE PARK.
