HEART OF THE ROCKIES CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Poncha Springs. It is a almost small park with a claimed 45 rv sites to park your recreational vehicle. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. If you are driving a 45 footer, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Sewer connections are provided. I do not know about you, but I cannot live without WiFi and this park has it so that is a good thing. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not just drive by Poncha Springs – instead stop and rest at HEART OF THE ROCKIES CAMPGROUND.
