HAMMONASSET BEACH STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Madison. It is a large park with a listed 558 rv sites to park your camper. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. If you are driving a very long camper, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Bring your generator as this park does not have electric hookups. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Depending on your perspective you might like this park as animals are not particularly welcome. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. If you ever get near Madison make sure you stop on by the HAMMONASSET BEACH STATE PARK.
