HAMBURG STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Mitchell. It is a fairly small park with a listed 30 slots to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. Do not worry too much about the length of your 45 footer since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Addict – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Fluffy since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. I am confident that the kind folks at HAMBURG STATE PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Mitchell.
