GUNFLINT PINES RESORT AND CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Grand Marais. It is a fairly small park with a reported 23 spots to park your coach. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. Do not worry too much about the length of your Motorhome since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little ole Furr Ball since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. I am confident that the kind folks at GUNFLINT PINES RESORT AND CAMPGROUND would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Grand Marais.
