GULF ISLANDS NATIONAL SEASHORE/FT PICKENS CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Pensacola. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a listed 200 rv sites to park your home away from home. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. Do not worry too much about the length of your large RV since the sites are built for large RVs. No need for a generator since the park has electric. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 Wireless Internet. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Depending on your perspective you might like this park as animals are not particularly welcome. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Do not just drive by Pensacola – instead stop and rest at GULF ISLANDS NATIONAL SEASHORE/FT PICKENS CAMPGROUND.
